30 Minute Appointments

**1. Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)** Review of SAP policies and holds. Go over SAP appeal to regain financial aid eligibility and get appropriate signatures. **2. Returning to Boise State University** Go over steps to take in order to return to Boise State after an extended absence. **3. Overview of Academic Holds** Explain specific holds on your account, what they mean, and how you made get them removed. Keep in mind that depending on the hold, you may be referred to other departments. **4. Withdrawing from a Class or Classes** Examine the impact of withdrawing from one or multiple classes. **5. Complete Withdraw Appeal** Discuss the process of submitting an appeal to the Registrar's Office in order to withdraw from a past semester due to extenuating circumstances. **6. BroncoRebound (Probation)** Understand the requirements of Bronco Rebound and what you need to do in order to have this hold lifted. Discuss probation policy and available resources. **7. Questions about Academic Standing/Progress/Policies** Talk about your academic performance, your standing at the university, resources available to continue improving, and different policies you may need t be aware of.

60 Minute Appointments

**1. Academic Reinstatement** Complete required academic advising appointment as part of the reinstatement process. Review policies, enrollment holds, campus resources, and ways to be successful. **2. Immediate or Early Reinstatement Appeal** Discuss the process of submitting an appeal to the Registrar's Office to appeal for reinstatement without sitting out the required dismissal period. **3.Third Dismissal Appeal** Discuss the process of submitting an appeal to the Registrar's Office to appeal for reinstatement after being dismissed from Boise State three or more times. **4. Academic Coaching** Talk about your academic goals and establish a plan for helping you reach them. Academic coaching requires multiple meetings throughout the semester. **5. Major Exploration due to Academic Difficulty** Examine how your current major may be impacting your academic success and review your options moving forward. **6. Multiple Academic Issues/Concerns/Crisis**
